Step 3: Add Water
Fill with filtered water up to your batch size (32oz, 64oz, or 1 gallon). Leave about 2 inches of headspace.
Step 4: Pitch Your Yeast
Sprinkle yeast on top. Don’t stir yet, let it hydrate for 10-15 minutes, then give it a gentle swirl.
Step 5: Seal It Up
Attach your airlock and stopper. Store in a cool, dark place (65-75°F is ideal).
